Chicago's having a much better year this year.
Murders are way down.
All the press attention has apparently inspired Rahm Emanuel to transform a few thousand uniformed and unionized bear claw digesters into a police force.

According to a police blog (Second City Cop), that’s because Rahm & Co have hinky ways of classifying crime in order to make the numbers look better. Their accounting is so hinky that the FBI won’t even use their numbers.
