NFL already has attendance problems....this will make it worse. Esp in Jacksonville You may be right about Jax....but I think this will help in Charlotte. The idiotic drunks have driven the famlies almost out of NFL stadia...and the cooler rule might bring some fans back - even if it drives some others away. You can't bring this stuff into college games, and the SEC seems to pack em in anyway.

This won't do a thing to reduce drunks. At least not in my city. Coolers have never been allowed at our stadium.
They're out drinking at 6:00am in the muni-parking lot. They arrive about 20 minutes after kickoff. Each one of the six drunks buys a round of beers costing about $50 a round. Beer sales stop at the end of the third quarter, so they generally last until about 5 minutes into the fourth before it's off to the bars (if they can still walk).
