i am not trying to offend you. and the NYT references data from the Census Bureau. and you infer that i think the gerrymandered districts are wrong; i don’t. that’s how politics is played, and democrats would have done the same thing

to advance a conservative agenda, conservatives need to win elections. the republicans have mustered one popular vote presidential majority since 1992.

at some point, i believe it is necessary to lose on principle. for example, goldwater in ‘64 is a great example, getting blown out but laying the groundwork for reagan in ‘80.

my overarching point is that conservatives need a message that has the support of the majority of the american people

Stick with securing the boarders first. It's a winner.

The fascists in Washington are tapping all our communications right now to "keep us safe", while at the same time they have the U.S. borders wide open to any terrorist who wants to come here! Hello???
Not only will the cost of amnesty make Obomacare look small in comparison, but why bother tapping us when the broader let's everyone in no matter what? And instead they're controlling and watching US as if we're the problem????

Close the borders, so the government doesn't need to spy on us 24/7, and it'll finally fix the run away immigration problem once and for all. It's a twofer - a win/win.

That is the RINO way isn’t it?
We have to make sure we don’t offend people and we just need to craft a “winning” message. /s

The “republicans” haven’t run a conservative candidate since Ronald Reagan. If we tell the truth, unlike the RINOs and the democrats, the people will support it. See Ronald Reagan’s huge landslide wins for example.

Jimmy Carter laid the ground work for Reagan in ‘80. Obama should have laid the ground work for another Reagan type conservative in 2012, but we got another lib RINO instead. The same liberal RINOs that hated everything about Reagan, and say we have to give up our principles and become more like democrats if we’re going to win. As if trying to become marxist-lite socialists was ever a winning strategy. George Bush the elder was the first in a long continuous line of liberal republicans running. Mitt Romney was the last. The only winner of the group George W. Bush, won because he could pretend to be “conservative” better than the others.

Why vote for the dem-lite when you can vote for the real thing? That is the problem the GOPe has created for the party since Popi Bush. Unlike you, I believe democrats tampering with the election had more to do with the loss than any imagined republican gerrymandering. But I think even that could have been overcome if we had nominated someone who really was conservative, who could actually defend and honestly believed in conservative principles. We’ve had 50 plus years of liberal ideas that have never even worked once. Conservative principles work whenever they are tried.

Now the democrats with the help of RINOs McConnell and Boehner are working out a coup against American citizens. They are trying to open the flood gates giving citizenship to people who hate us and never cared about what the US represents. They are generational socialists having been raised with the mindset that the United States owes them, the United States needs to take care of them. We are a giant ATM machine to them. They don’t care about freedom, our constitutional principles, or justice for all. They care about what they can get from us.

If they succeed, there will be no United States as we’ve ever known it anymore. Eventually, they will be able to deconstruct the Constitution in exchange for their socialist principles so that nothing will be the way the Founding Fathers envisioned.

We need to stand up for the United States. If we don’t stand up for what is right, if we keep worrying about offending the opposition, and hold hands and join the libs, we will lose.

the only thing we can do is get rid of the media as we know it. 90% of them work 24/7 against us. But they are not the real problem those that hire them are.. the wealthy elitists
