I hunt. I wait for days for a buck to come into view, then I rely on my shooting skills, my lever action Marlin or my sporterized ‘03(bought it that way...I would never ruin a classic like the ‘03 springfield). Or any number of weapons I possess.
I would call what is in the video, killing or shooting and not hunting....but hey, that's just me.
I do hope that our boys in the sandbox have this technology. as war is not a sport, having more precision snipers out there, that are on our side can only be a bonus.

Exactly. Totally agree. There is hunting, and then there is shooting. One is sportsmanly and requires/hones skill, while the other is equivalent to playing a video game. One has the game having a fighting chance (for example, if you are not careful about wind direction, or you walk like a pregnant hippo, the animal will flee), while the other is like killing an ant with a magnifying glass. Hunting requires skills, while shooting only requires a weapon. In South Africa they will let you shoot a caged lion for a price, and you can then brag how you tracked down the beast.
Anyways, this is perfect for the military, as well as patriots and assassins alike. But it is definitely not a hunting system, even though it shoots very well.

I’m with you Vaquero...they can call it whatever they want, but hunting it is not.
