He only drives fast on rare occasion and If I say anything he’s likely to drive faster:) I am rather a “goody two shoes behind the wheel”, and thank you we do have a very happy marriage 19 years next month.

I think all of us has drove fast before.... but ? he needs to be reminded that the faster you drive the less time you have to react to something on the road.
Driving slower gives you more time to react to different situations on the road.
