Knott’s! I still remember playing in the teepee in the Indian Village, watching the chicken play the piano at Old McDonald’s Farm, driving the cars at Henry’s Livery, feeding the seals, rowing across Knott’s Lagoon, and looking at the little devil operating the volcano.

In the 1950's and 1960's, we would frequently visit Knott's when it consisted only of the restaurant and the ghost town. In the 1970's, inside a replica of Independence Hall, there was a bookstore that specialized in conservative books. They also rented out films to conservative groups.

Since it became a full-fledged amusement park, I usually only go there for the restaurant--you don't have to pay admission into the park to eat there.
