I thought those were called port-a-potty contractors.

And I can see why they wouldn’t like the architects.

I like that... “Porta-Potty Contactor”.

If I get a contractor that tries to cut corners or blame-someone-else-first instead of doing it right, they probably don’t like me by the end of the job.

OTOH, if I get one who wants to do it right and fix it when he does it wrong, he usually likes me by the end of the job because I will try to work with him.

The porta-potty contractor can kiss my a$$ and do it to the exact letter of the plans and specs. They typically don’t like me, but I don’t really care. In fact, I kinda hope they see my name on a set of plans and say “I ain’t a gonna bid no nothing from dat stupit archi-ma-text no more” (or whatever the equivalent spanish version of that is).

Sub-contractor (even indivdual workers) and I usually have a great relationship once they figure it out.
