I don’t know what I’m thinking every year, doing day camp and swim team at the same time. Unnngh.
I’m glad Piper is back.
Thanks, n-t-i. For a number of reasons (weather not included) this vacation was much better than several previous ones.
GREAT!
I’m sorry, but that looks like the mess of tapeworms my cat just passed.
I was going to ask that question, but figured it’s none of my business, so I kept my own council. But then, I thought, maybe she just doesn’t realize the conflict with her schedule....
When I went to sit with my great niece and nephew last week, I left my ibuprofin and melatonin at my niece’s place. I sent an envelope with instructions for her to send them back, prepaid, and have heard nothing. In the meantime, I have been going without my ibuprofin.
It was very painful for me to even walk, much less function in other ways, and I got no response from her when I texted. She is a dialysis tech, and she usually has a 12-14 hour shift, but still, I couldn’t understand her silence.
She was “working so many hours,” she never checked her mail. I still don’t know how long it will be before I will get them, and I can’t replace them, since I don’t have the finances. (Otherwise, I would have done so and not worried about the ones at her place.)
I keep asking different people if they have some ibuprofin I can borrow, and I get, “I have Aleve,” which makes me faint when I take it, or “I have Tylenol,” which is what ruined my liver, but no one has any ibuprofin.
Ohwell...I will bump into things, and grind my own bones until my niece gets time to mail the stuff. Ungh...
Ohyes...the cricket is dead. YAY!!!
(My life is NEVER dull!!)
I’m glad my breakfast consisted of Carnation Instant Breakfast and not something a little more exotic, or I would have spewed all over the laptop...
:o|
LOL. It was disgusting, all right. I don’t know what was worse, seeing them like THAT, or seeing those little white segments that wiggle being passed before you give the medicine.
Ugh. I think I’ll just skip breakfast today. lol.
Congratulations on the demise of the cricket!
I’ve just remembered I need to call someone.
I’ve arranged a ride home from camp for Jamie’s son for the next few days. That will make my afternoons easier. I need to call my babysitter for the swim meet tomorrow, after I run Mapquest for where we’re going and see how long it will take.
A Win at the Salvation Army half-price sale. I got a skirt and jacket in a gorgeous shade of blue that can be reworked for a sea-goddess Hallowe’en costume. I also got two dresses in black and white that I can wear for Real Life. One is silk and a size 0. I was surprised it fit me after I tried on a different one in a 4 and it was too small. Sizes on stuff are almost useless these days!
And a t-shirt for James, with a dragon and a guitar on it.
*morbid chortle*

I thought of this song because I thought Ricky Skaggs did it, but he didn’t.
Ooohhh! Great day shopping for you!!
It’s good that you don’t have to stress so much over the car-pool situation.
Not THAT Cricket...the little chirper with the alien face and the loud knees!
Did you get the message written down before the cricket's demise? Have a thought it may have been important. Those crickets sometimes talk like morse code.
LOL!
He did the Morse code with his knees, which is why I had to kill him...it wasn’t making sense...NSA said so!
Reminds me of Woolverton Mountain.
