I love my friend and her family despite our political differences. I have two very dear friends, who happen to also be colleagues, and we are night and day politically. We each know where the other stands politically and respect our differences. I wish this girl well but I feel like vomiting when I think of who she will Likely be working for.
When I lived in the city, I had a couple of liberal friends I got along with-but they were actually fair minded and respectful, unlike most libs, and we usually didn’t talk politics anyway. My plumber friend is an obamabot, too, but he holds grudges, so we aren’t speaking just now-he’ll get over it eventually.
