In the age of the taser, trying to restrain someone means barking orders.
Your thoughts on the use of a taser coincide with free citizens being tased into compliance, and dogs being shot on private property. It has followed the militarization of the police, and the theory that risk is no longer acceptable to LEOs.
If a cop wouldn’t shoot someone, then they shouldn’t tase them. That is where you and I fundamentally disagree. There is no more relevant point.
I would agree with shooting someone trying to get into a burning building.
