Ping
My dog throws right handed but he bats left.
Never trust a Southpaw.
Naturally, most are right handed. Since I do not believe that people choose their handedness, there must be something (naturally) queer to be left handed.
Funny, I never thought about dogs being left/right pawed.
Then a few nights ago I was letting my 25# poodle in from her evening pit stop and noticed she always comes up the steps left paw first.
Told my wife the dog was a southpaw. Wife scoffed.
My question is, should I show my wife this article and risk sleeping on the couch or go for it?
SINISTER!
This conclusion should have been anticipated by the earlier study that found left-pawed mice to be aggressive.
I wonder how much that study cost us.
Ok, I watched these two demented daschunds all day and I can’t figure out if they are right or left handed.
I read this last night and silly question, how the heck do you know which paw your dog uses the most

I don’t know if my boy is right-pawed or left-pawed, but he’s only able to spin in clockwise circles. That’s what he does when he’s really happy or excited, such as when he sees someone he likes, or when he’s going to get a treat. He spins like a top, and almost as fast as one. But always clockwise, several times a day for the past six years, and never once has he spun counterclockwise.
