Very cool. When they first began earnestly recovering artifacts from the ship I had the opportunity to see a number of them. Without a doubt the most interesting pieces were the crewmen’s personal effects.
I found the website for The Mary Rose ^ with more pics of her and the artifacts. Would be worth a visit!
I would like it to be proven that one of the guys was my great-great-great....grandfather so that I could claim one of the longbows that was found on the Mary Rose. My traditional bowhunting buddies would turn 500 shades of green with envy.
