I got Windows 8 on my new laptop. SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!
Windows 8 was created as a distraction to all the scandels... :)
I hear you... I have put up with crapware from Mickeysoft before, but this operating system (Windows 8) is the first one that actually made me want to get violent
It took me a month to get back to being able to work
And it is the stupid stuff too... Like you log in with your EMAIL id and password- and when you turn the computer on it tells you how many emails you got- even if it is your children turning on the computer...
And in the email program you are automagically logged in to skype... whether you want to be or not.
And the normal start button- gone. I was about to kill someone until I discovered some one made a freeware start button emulator that you can install (GOD BLESS YOU!!)
Want to watch a movie while you are working? full screen app... want to play a little solitaire while your program compiles? ANOTHER full screen app
Like to type commands in to start various utilities you own? no more “run” input box
wnat to right-click and open the windows file explorer? like you have done 1000 times a day while working? GONE
Windows Office is now a SUBSCRIPTION service- no more wondering whether to buy the next office upgrade, they will just bill you yearly for what you have.
I am surprised there has not been a march on Redmond with torches and pitchforks. Bill Gates never did stuff like this when he was in charge
(and granted, he did some way-stupid stuff)
And not sucks like Windows Vista ("I paid $240 for an upgrade to this...?") more like "How the hell do I use this damn computer anymore? where is everything?"
