If you, or P.J. O’Rourke, had any idea how hot a man looks when he’s wearing a hat, you’d all run out and buy them. Mind, I’m not advocating grandpa hats. But don’t nobody tell me that John Wayne, Humphrey Bogart, and Clint Eastwood aren’t sexy in their hats. So are all the cowboys, the military guys wearing boonie hats, the shooters, hunters, Don Draper, and other icons of male attractiveness.
In extremely hot, sunny weather or cold weather, men look silly with their heads exposed to the weather and their hair blowing around. One looks at them and thinks, “What a stooge. He’s leaving himself vulnerable to the elements and he won’t be able to work outdoors as long as someone who was prudent enough to wear a hat.”
