***The difference this time is, the Bible predicted it. And the Bible predicts that “unless those days were cut short, no life would have been saved”.
In the days the bible was written, it was incomprehensible that mankind would have the weaponry to reach the point where “no life would have been saved”, to the point that such bible passages were pushed as allegory. But now we live in such times. Where does one go to be the church who “escapes on the wings of the eagle”?
The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the wilderness, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent’s reach.
