Republicans are so radical these days that Reagan couldn’t even get nominated.

Except of course they have nominated Republicans far to the left of Regan - like Dole, McCain and Romney.

You do realize that it isn’t the Republicans that have become so radicalized - it is that the Dem Party has become so monolithic - that ANY political party that starts becoming non-monolithic, non-top down (like the Dem Party presently IS) that people will automatically call the Republican party “radical”

And what is occuring on the right, will occur sooner-or-later on the left, with super progressives eventually shaking up the Dem party (as there is a Dem-e, along with a Gop-e.).

What Independents and Libertarians do will decide the future of the political spectrum.
