Not one to post vanities, but was wondering about the Carbon 15.
Saw one today for $799.
Anyone with knowledge or experience with this one?
Fondled a couple of bushmasters in the past, but was unimpressed.
This one seems tighter and lighter

Youre off by 1" Hmmm...I think Carbon 15 is used for dating future artifacts.

If they are pre 2006 they were made in Windham Maine.

I believe you’re right. Both mine say “Windham, ME”, on the lower receiver.

I feel for you. Illinois is right behind Connecticut in the race for stupidity. Gun shows are an option. I read some rumblings that Colt may bolt from Ct anyway. More power to them.
