A movie about the young Hillary Clinton is in the works, and some big names are being reported as possibly filling the role — although none of the actresses is actually attached to the project.
Scarlett Johansson, Reese Witherspoon, Jessica Chastain, and Amanda Seyfried are supposedly among the stars “in the running” for Rodham, which portrays Clinton as a Washington lawyer in the 1970s, according to The Independent.
But it’s important to note that while director James Ponstoldt tells the outlet “they’re all wonderful actresses,” absolutely no casting decisions have been made.
“We’re very fortunate that a lot of really great actors are interested in playing these roles,” Ponstoldt is quoted as saying. “We’re in an enviable position.”
He adds, “Regardless of people’s political affiliation or how they feel about Hillary Clinton, you don’t find people who question the quality of her intelligence or her drive. I want a wonderful actress who could embody that.

Sad freaking topic for a movie...because an actual written biography would document horrific incompetence,lifelong craving for power, arrogance, childrens “rights”, belief in genetic predetermination ala Margaret Sanger (neo-socialist)/eugenics. A lesbian/amoralist who had no portfolio without her serial rapist husband Bill, and a singularly unpleasant stupid mean woman. The next agenda for a president— a matriarchal society (the last president being a failed male result of a male named matriarch who abandoned him to her parents). Can’t wait.
Emma Thompson is a dead ringer for Killary. With the appropriate make down (not make up :).
Check her out in Men Black III. I think they purposely made her up to look like Killary.
Well, Director Ponstoldt, I question everything about Hillary except her treachery. And if you'd get out of your liberal echo chamber and into the real world you'd find that most people of real accomplishment have the same opinion of Mrs. Clinton as a person of limited intellect who accomplished nothing on her own.
As far as actresses being considered for the witch's role, I promise that whoever is cast will never have my patronage again.
Unless, of course, Francis the Talking Mule's rear end is cast to play Hillary!
His main “accomplishment” seems to be that he was given entry into the Oval Office.

The object of the film is likely to be an election, so it will probably offer more emotion appeal than an accurate representation of facts and events.
