Again - totally subjective.
I guess it is all a mater of perspective, none of the former smokers I know have a problem with the smell, most, in fact rather enjoy it. And not a one of them has turned into an anti-smoker nanny statist.

See #35. I don’t believe that anything I wrote would catagorize me as an anti-smoker nanny statist. This man just smelled BAD and it was a stale cigarette smell. I stood far away from him while I waited for him to conclude his purchase.
You seem overly sensitive about the topic. Even King James (of Bible fame) complained about the foul uses of tobacco brought back from the Colonies. He only began to tolerate it when it became a cash crop.

Agree with you. As a non smoker I don't have any problem with the smell. However, I do have asthma now so I avoid smoking situations inside. However, that's MY PROBLEM so I don't tell others they can't smoke....I just move or avoid the situation. I hate people who decide to quit something and then tell others they must do the same. I know someone who's a recovering alcoholic and he's constantly telling everyone else that they shouldn't even have a glass of wine with dinner and that if they do so more that once in a great while that they have an alcohol problem....grrrr.

I know a few ex-smokers that think they are just so much better than those that chose to keep smoking, but I think it’s just a deep personality problem. Most of them are normal.
