But! She is exactly correct. Personally, I don’t care if people smoke. I just do not to smell it anymore and I don’t want to pay for their cancer, cardiac, etc healthcare. Once we are okay with the government paying for our healthcare, then we are going to have them telling us how to live.
And I don’t want to pay for drinker’s and drug user’s liver problems, or gay’s aids problems.
The government was telling us how to live long before you were okay with the government paying for your healthcare.
<....”I dont care if people smoke..... I dont want to pay for their cancer, cardiac, etc healthcare”....>
Are you going to also say this also about fat people... for their health issues have far surpassed smokers now....
...additionally recent article says “sitters”, who do nothing but use technology all day, have “replaced” smokers in health care issues.
..and what about those who are STD infected for their lifestyle choices to engage in sex at will?
The list goes on and on....but the old story of laying blame on smokers has long been replaced by other practices draining the health care system.
I stood behind a man at the pharmacy earlier today. He had a foul smell that was noticeable 6 feet away. What was he buying? Cigarettes.
You do understand that actually very few smokers get “ cancer, cardiac, etc” right? Don’t want to smell it? Buy a bubble and live in it, Oh and sell your car too, because I dont want to smell those fumes either.
