Although I'm not a scientist (or a theologian) I think evolution is a plausible theory.However,there are many who claim that "evolution" positively disproves God's existence whereas I believe that it tends to do just the opposite.I firmly believe that God is more than capable of creating the universe...and the wings of a butterfly...in "six days",or gradually,meaning over thousands,millions or billions of years.

That's wrong. Theories which require trans-finite sequences of probabilistic miracles and zero-probability events aren't plausible. The good news is that there aren't a whole lot of theories like that out there...
