Ahhh...Master & Commander, also a great one!

So many good films listed here. Memorial Day is one of my favorite "movie" holidays. That and Christmas. I love watching all the old movies played on TCM over Memorial weekend. I am grateful to them for still showing these great movies.
I rarely watch movies made recently because they just don't have the values in them that the movies from the 30's and 40's had. Many of those push the limits as well but you rarely see a current movie that does that have a gay leading character or some slime in it somehow. I watch these WW2 area films and sometimes I just want to cry...how far our country has deteriorated since. So sad to think how much the brave men and women who served gave up and how we have thrown it away!! Makes me sick
