Fusion does not violate any laws of physics. In fact, we have a huge fusion generator up in the sky. We may or may not be able to overcome the issues of containment of these ultra-hot reactions, but we have no doubt that they occur.

The Tokamak does not work. Surprised you hadn't noticed that ~ and that is the very best idea they ever had about how to generate fusion based energy that could yield useful power.

Again, the machinery does not work ~ we've wasted hundreds of billions of dollars ~ it's always 30 years away ~ and they want more money.

That is a fraud.

Such "true believers" are certain that they have a hotline to truth—absolute truth. They are upset and even angered that anyone can fail to see these truths. In fact, they usually consider skeptics to be deliberately denying these truths, for some personal or emotional reasons. They see skeptics as "the enemy", an enemy to be discredited in any way possible. They invent all sorts of fantastic reasons why the "establishment" would attempt to "hide or deny the truth". Perhaps it's a "vast conspiracy" by scientists to preserve their jobs and their status as guardians of their faith in false principles.

He isn't an inventor, but that paragraph screams Kevmo. I'd give him a ping, but he doesn't like that.

Probably the “Hot Fusion” cartel undermining lenr. Or Big Oil or Big Utilities, another trade secret.

As I said, there is no doubt that fusion occurs and that there are countless examples of it going on right now. Our sun, plus all of those stars up in the sky, are all fusion reactors.

You do understand, don’t you, that the sun and stars are all fusion reactors? From the way you keep pointing out that we have not yet been able to replicate this natural process, I am having my doubts. We can’t make volcanoes, either, but does that mean they don’t exist?

To believe that the process of fusion is, in fact, occurring does not require any leap of faith. OTOH, to believe that Rossi is anything other than a scammer requires one to, I dunno, believe that the fundamental laws of physics are merely suggestions.

Kevmo has never stated the e-cat is a perpetual motion machine. It consumes fuel. It is just a fuel with a very high energy density. (something like 10,000X more than gas) ;)

But using this article is not relevant to the topic. The author never mentions LENR. ‘Your’ title is misleading.

Though I don’t share Kevmo’s zeal for battling the resident luddites, I have read the report and accept the conclusions.

Kevmo will have the last laugh.
