Nebraska Attorney General Jon Bruning has filed charges against a nurse who works for late-term abortion practitioner LeRoy Carhart.
The charges follow the conviction of late-term abortion practitioner Kermit Gosnell, who killed babies in gruesome abortion-infanticide procedures and killed a woman in a failed abortion.
Lindsey Creekmore, the only person who works as a registered nurse at Carharts (left) abortion business in the Omaha area, faces medical disciplinary charges. Brunings charges accuse Creekmore of administering incorrect intravenous dosages of sedatives and a labor-inducing drug to 11 patients between January 2011 and March 2012, according to an Omaha World Herald report.
The charges filed against Creekmore do not indicate whether any of the patients were injured or hospitalized as a result of the incorrect dosages, the report continues. The complaint also alleges that the clinic did not routinely staff its recovery room with licensed medical staff, in violation of a rule that prohibits a registered nurse from delegating complex nursing care to unlicensed staff.
Creekmore faces an August 5 disciplinary hearing before the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services Public Health Division.
Clinic records show a significant pattern of substandard care practices that, in any surgical center, would endanger the health and safety of the public, said Bruning, according to the paper. We are seeking license revocation.
Julie Schmit-Albin, the Executive Director of Nebraska Right to Life, told LifeNews she is glad Bruning brought the charges.
The allegations in the Attorney Generals Petition for Disciplinary Action against a registered nurse in charge at LeRoy Carharts abortion facility are troubling but not surprising, she said.
The abortion industry operates largely in secrecy from the scrutiny that is brought upon legitimate medical providers, Schmit-Albin added. Because Nebraskas abortion facilities are not subject to regular inspection, this type of activity will continue to fly under the radar, posing risks to womens health.
The pro-life leader said it is time for Nebraskas legislature to get serious about clamping down on Carhart and Planned Parenthood by passing clinic regulation legislation which is in effect in other States. If we are truly a pro-life State there is much more that can be done through legislation to decrease the number of babies aborted and to protect the lives and health of women.
Carhart has escaped prosecution himself, so far, in the state of Maryland, where he also does abortions, for killing a woman in a botched 33-week abortion.

I hope she is served with harsh justice and finds redemption from her awful sins.
She obviously has no respect for human life...look at how she mutilated her own body.
