I don’t suppose you watch “Veep” on HBO. Julia Louis-Dreyfus is the VP and it’s a quite funny show. Last night she was hate-flirting with her ex while they were all celebrating their daughter’s 21st birthday. All while smiling constantly so that no one would get a photo of her looking “angry.”
It was quite awkward for the daughter, with her parents talking about how good their sex was.
i can’t in a zillion years imagine doing anything like that in front of my kids. kids do not need to know that their parents have sex, IMO! i recall when the wife of one of my colleagues was expecting a bit later in life, when his older kids were in HS, and him telling me how awkward it was for them bc it was proof postive that they were having sex.
