If we get behind our guys and cheer them on
**********
How did the GOP treat the Tea Party? It marginalized them at every opportunity. And then re-elected the hapless Boehner to Speaker again (even the Dems had to be shocked at that one). There are precious few Republicans, like Issa and Cruz for instance, who actually stand for something. If Republicans start playing to actually win (for a change) then I’ll join you in cheering them on.

As far as the media is concerned, never forget that they are dyed in the wool liberals. When have they ever supported anything championed by Republicans?

And sometimes cheering just doesn’t work. Only tough love and demanding high standards do.

Yesterday's news. The IRS scandal has the possibility of finally uniting efforts of GOPe with Tea Party in a way where Tea Party are credibly seen as having earned their chops as the message spear carriers, not just as contrarians. The Tea Party: perceived as the fighters on the front line with the IRS that has a way of reaching into the mind of every household where the "us vs. them" lines can clearly be drawn -- and the GOP collectively ad credibly seen as the party aggressively leading a charge the People can actually believe in.

Tea Party is in the position of co-opting the GOPe, because the GOPe now has someone -- an "everyman" -- out front to take the hits while they coordinate the fund raising to keep it all going.

If Republicans start playing to actually win (for a change) then I’ll join you in cheering them on.

Well then read this and get on board for a change.

Issa Warns Hillary "A May 8 hearing on Benghazi was probably Issa’s biggest success yet as chairman. In closed-door meetings with chairmen of other committees, he has attributed the success to careful planning and urged his colleagues to take their time with investigative hearings."

Notice that Issa is setting the stage and this takes time that you appear to be too impatient to accord him. He has whistle blowers depositioned already. Trey Gowdy, who you seem to have forgotten about entirely, is a pit-bull no nonsense former prosecutor who has the skill to tear Hillary a new one on the back side of having key-witness testimony in the pocket.

Boehner's not just talking people losing jobs anymore, he's actually talking jail-time for perps. He's been weak in our opinions before, but this is getting a head of steam that you folks in the hand-wringing crowd simply refuse to acknowledge.

It's about time you started cheering some of these folks on, and if you can't bring yourself to do it, just get out of the way, so the rest of us can.

FReegards!
