First problem with this story is the author thinks she deserves “respect” and special treatment just because she’s a woman. Respect is earned and many woman do little to earn it.


In the old days a woman started with the status of “Respected” just due to her gender. But it was entirely up to her to maintain that fleetingly delicate and lofty stature. NO do-overs was the rule.
