That’s why a guy should always be in some kind of relationship, easier to get the woman you really want if you’re already in a relationship....sounds cynical, I know, but it’s true.....If a guy isn’t currently in a relationship, women are going to wonder why.

Similar dynamic to why job applicants who are currently working are more attractive to recruiters than the unemployed. Employer HR people figure that if you are unemployed, there's probably a reason, while if you're employed, you can't be too bad.
