Well, the happening described was quite local, and small, though acrid in nature, apparently.
However, it is not unusual these days for the MSM to minimize or ignore events strengthening conservative traditions and heritage.

From the other link you provided, (http://towsonwsu.blogspot.com/ ) did you look through it? I don't think those views are the traditions and heritage of conservatives. I don't find that very 'strengthening', either. If that is what it is to be conservative, then maybe I'm not.

Many great American's shed blood and died fighting the Nationalist Nazis. I do realize that all the PC crap has created all sorts of protected classes and what may have started off as a good thing has blossomed into a monster. Yes, I see an emerging problem of blacks attacking whites and the media refusing to call any attention to it. I see a problem that only whites can be racists or bigots. But that doesn't make another group who would only advance a selected race/color/class a good choice for me. I can look at history and know the Nationalist aren't for me.I think all the protected class chit is bunk and dangerous, so why would I want to be a part of one that promotes the same? Two wrongs don't make a right. I know I am not a liberal but if I need to buy into this to be conservative, then I guess I am not that either. I am for our Constitution, freedom and justice. I will just call my self a concerned American citizen then.
