When I took history in high school I remember 3-4 chapters of our book being over WW 2 and we took several weeks to cover it. One of by nephew’s (my kids are in private school) book it is half a chapter with 20 questions in the chapter review. There is a whole chapter on social progress in the 21 century however.
At first, I was delighted to hear that Palm Beach County has not eliminated Music from the curriculum.
Then I asked a SECOND GRADER what she learned in Music Class today.
She said:
“We learned about Katie Perry and Lady Gaga.” (I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP!!!!)
History is probably taught the same way.
I want to know what already happened in schools across the country to cause so many FReepers to think that you make a noun plural with an apostrophe.
