They teach cops to do this in moron cop school. They give them black t-shirts, black cargo pants, the latest Glock, and catered lunches, hotel stays, and meal per-diems, and enter the head of those with no morals or decency beyond their lust to dominate those around them.
Policing in the modern state has created a loyal pack of vile thugs with mommy and daddy issues.
The qualifier however is their potential epiphany at some point and the right to turn on their masters.

Their balls shoot straight up in their throats when confronted by an attorney who knows his stuff, so at least I have that going for me.
Plus I’m a 34 year old WASP, so they always like me.
My experience as a prosecutor and schooling them (and CPS) on the Constitution has made me a person not to be messed with, at least locally.
That said, I don’t go picking fights. There are plenty enough clients bringing those to me as it is.
