Is the new puppy settling in well?
Buffy the Dandelion Slayer had one bad day on Tuesday. She is settling in and ruling the house already. No kennel over night last night. DH put her doggie bed outside our bedroom door where she was on guard all night. He put one of her training pads next to it and she used it. She escorted me to the bathroom when I got up. Otherwise, she was silent and slept. Good dog. She is getting playful. She ran in circles last night around the coffee table leaping over a throw pillow on the floor as she did. Her ears were flowing back and she put on the speed. I laughed myself silly. She is rejecting my lap to lay on the floor at my feet. She only wanted my lap on Tuesday. She will go eat when she’s hungry, even without me standing there to keep her company. All in all, she is taking over. I think that means she is adjusting.
