All kidding aside, (and I admit to having had some fun with you here) over the past 30 years, I've shot Glock 17/19 9mm pistols at the range and have had the opportunity to compare them with Springfield XD's, Smith & Wesson M&P,'s H&K, Ruger, SIG Sauer, Beretta, and a few others.

I'm picky. Granted. As a practical matter, I don't particularly care for the grip (bulky, like the Ruger) or their triggers, which I found a bit "sticky". They are very accurate, though - as good as any other. They do seem to feed FMJ's noticeably better than JHP's, but your experience might be different. Of all the above, SIG's are the best made (though pricey as hell). For a 9mm, I eventually opted for the Springfield XD in the 4" police service model: 16+1, great trigger, both grip and ambi safeties, and never a misfeed, ever. I don't think I'd carry one while bowling, though.

Bowling is dangerous enough without a gun.

;<)

We all have our preferences and peccadilloes. I have done almost all of my training with my carry weapon which is a Glock. I am actually more accurate with my .357 magnum but it just ain’t a carry gun.

When I can’t carry my Glock because of circumstances beyond my control I have a little bitty .380 Kel-Tec which I carry in my pocket just like my keys. One of those deals where any gun in your pocket is better than the gun at home.

Take care,
