ok, i am not advocating shooting criminals in the back but this is far more egregious, in that these are innocent women, not fleeing criminals!
That thread has some of the most appalling and ignorant responses I’ve seen in awhile. Wanting to be alive and healthy for your kids-and being willing to do something difficult to get better odds isn’t a stunt.
A close friend of mine had a double mastectomy after having a small tumor removed-her mom and sister both died of breast cancer early on. My friend isn’t rich or famous, but she was alive to bring up her 2 kids, and is still alive and well, 15 years later.
I make no secret of considering many men self-centered and dishonest in their dealings with women, but I still think the more vitriolic male posters should imagine how it might feel to have to be emasculated in order to live...
