Several years ago we had the Largest X-class flare on record. It glanced off one side of the Earth, causing little damage. It was not mentioned much in the media, nor in astronomy circles. I asked an expert from NASA what would have happened if it had hit directly ? Would it be like 'french fried people'?

All he said was 'yes'.

When those 'in the know' don't want to talk about it, it must be bad.

The sad thing .. all that work on a nice bunker .. for nought.. if a GRB has ya it in its crosshairs.. it’s gonna be a singy kind of day, ya know that something is burnin’ smell..?
