Just realized that Q-Squared is a non-canon Star Trek novel.
I have a bunch of novels I bought that I haven’t gotten around to reading, yet. Yes, that Trelane being a (juvenile) Q makes a lot of sense. Probably also the beings that cared for Charlie X (a human given Q-like powers) were as well.
