So far the little pup has not eaten, nor has she had much to drink. I keep encouraging her, but she turns up her nose. I am beginning to get worried.
Do you have the same food she was being fed?
Yes, we went straight to Pet Smart and bought it last night. Same exact package. The breeder called ahead to make sure they had it.
I’d say put some butter on her paws, but I guess that only works for cats.
We tried peanut butter, our Missy had loved it. She was not interested.
I wouldn’t worry. She’ll eat when she’s hungry. You can syringe some water into her mouth if she goes more than 8 hrs without voiding.
let her get her bearings, she will eat when she is good and hungry. mine don’t eat if they are nervous or upset. She is in a new home with new people and her siblings and the rest of her family are not with her, it’s only natural she would be a bit anxious.
Breeder fed all three remaining puppies from same bowl. She had no idea how much this puppy ate.
Well that's true of why there was a game 7, but last night was all the Caps fault.

She is so tiny she doesn’t need much anyway. I cooked eggs for my little dog for last night and today since I think his throat might still be a little raw. He passed his post-op exam just now and the doc added even more meds. He has a box of them like an old lady with a printed schedule for each day. He gets some meds every 2 hours while awake.

You know as much as he sounds like Tonto when he talks, he still has a better grasp of English than Datysuk who’s been here for about 15 years at least.
i think his grasp is pretty good, one of the quotes i saw attributed to him as to what happened last night...”we sh!t ourselves.” It was during the NHL awards show two years ago that Ovie said much the same thing about Dasyuk, he was making fun of Malkin’s english after his acceptance speech and said, well he’s still better than Datsyuk!
Huh. Tried one of her puppy snacks and she ate it up pretty fast. She just doesn’t want her puppy food, yet. Got the puppy snacks to lure her into the kennel. Worked with our last dog, till it didn’t...
if i am anxious or upset, i may not have the appetite for dinner, but i could probably choke down a piece of chocolate so.... ; )
I am not worried since she gobbled up her snack. LOL Vet’s office almost didn’t take her.....I mentioned my dog that died some weeks back and they agreed right away. Phew. Guess they are not taking any new patients otherwise. They have 4 or 5 vets, yet still not taking any new cases. Interesting. Dr. Roberts attends our church, saved Peanut’s life and was there when we took Missy in that last time. I didn’t want another vet.
Watching Carney now....really, really want one more scandal. Cannot wait. Probably Friday if it’s coming?
