The "incisors" you see on meat-eating animals are the carnassials - teeth specifically meant for shearing flesh, which humans lack:

Note the order of the large fangs. Our incisors are the same teeth as those on gorillas - almost exclusively existing on plant food, with a few insects thrown in.
