Well, that wasn’t too exciting a race, was it?
As the commentators (e.g. Martin Brundle) have been pointing out for a while, right now it’s all about tire management, i.e. no one is actually racing flat-out. If they did, they’d have to do 10 pit stops...
Pirelli really should be forced to provide decent tires, or be dumped as a supplier. Tires should be good for flat-out racing with two to three stops. JMHO (and I’m starting to lose interest, after decades, following this crap).

Just watched the race, some excellent wheel to wheel without wrecking.
Don’t really like Alonso but he’s a stud and was really amped for the home crowd. They got their 250 Euros worth of racing.
Here at Indy it’s so cold they’re probably hunting down antifreeze for the engines tonight....
