Try bleach. It worked to get the blood out of the interior of my car.

Do not know the answer to this but I do have a hint for kids who paint the wall and furniture with lipstick. When my late daughter was about. 18 months, she decided to be the family artist and chose to use my lipstick. I had no idea how to get it off when I saw a bottle of baby oil. Took every bit of it off. Did not leave a stain either. I was amazed that it worked.

Hang a really large picture over the stain.

Tri-nitro-toluene. Several pounds should remove the stain.

Nothing cuts grease better than HOT WATER added to a solution because it’s the HOT WATER that breaks down the molecules. Ever try to clean dishes effectively with cold water?

What the hell does “touchous” mean anyway. Aren’t they painted drywall? If so,you simply need to wash your painted wall with a washcloth with hot water with dish detergent.

This is counter-intuitive, but I find WD-40 removes heavy grease well. ALso, there are those engine degreasers.

A simple method to clean oil, grease spillage or kitchen stains from walls, wall-paper or floors is to spray it with dry Fullers Earth powder and leave for a while and wipe with a cloth. You can repeat the procedure if the stain persists. This is a very safe method as it will not affect the paint or colour of your wall paper.
For very stubborn stains you can spread Fullers Earth paste with water over the stain and leave it for 24 hrs, dust it later and wipe with a wet cloth.
It used to work with grease stains on wallpaper without harming the wallpaper. Still available at the drugstore I believe.

Why would you post a cleaning question on Free Republic?
It’s an insult to the purpose of this site!

I have no idea what kind of wall you are talking about but you might try hanging a picture or something over the greasy spot. If you can't clean it off...... cover it up.

I would try a tiny bit of Bartender’s Friend (an abrasive in a medium similar to Comet)—I have good luck with it. use a damp cloth to pick up a crumb, and work gingerly. This stuff is what I use to clean my glass-top cooktop.

Thanks to everyone for the advice. I have used generic "Mean Green," both mixed with warm water and as a spray on. I think all it did was spread it out a little thinner. It must have been absorbed into the paint/wall pores by now.
I'm not happy about it, especially since I caused it, but this is what happened and I'll just have to be satisfied with it.
I'm becoming afraid to even touch a wall.

Get a brass brush and rub the dry wall hard, taking off the outer paper and some of the inner gypsum. When satisfied that you’ve scraped off enough (area-wise) to get the oil/grease, apply joint compound from a typical hardware jar, smooth it out. Sand it the next day, then paint over it and do the entire wall. You will forget you ever had a problem.
