it makes any character he plays as totally unrealistic. So not only is the uhura / spock sex unbelievable as characters, the actor is lacking in any gravitas as a romantic lead.

Your probably right but I don’t believe that this Star Trak is going to be a bomb like Seven Days, Seven Nights was. But I do know what you meant for sure.
