And the NHL is usually noted for its world class officiating. ;-)
Is it really a surprise that home team announcers see things in their home team’s favor?
i am saying that it was said that such a penalty disparity was UNPRECEDENTED in the NHL. so however bad they are, they are WORSE this time out.
If the Caps screw up, our announcers say so. And if something is clearly NOT a goal, they don’t say it is. If they think the Caps have gotten a break in not being called for something, they say that. so seeing things in your teams favor is one thing, but painting a diff picture of reality is something else entirely.
