I agree with them. They’re saying Wall Street and big banks are worshiping the false idols of money and power. This was a parody skit. Sometimes it’s hard for conservatives to see parody on the other side.

I got that part steve. To one extent they are correct. Some people do worship money. It does not mean every rich person does.

Yeah, I was gonna say that. It’s explained in some of the text that the “calf” had corporate logos around it ... but still!

Remember The Wicker Man, the movie? Where he is tricked into acting out a role that qualifies him for sacrifice? Maybe multiple levels are operating here.

I agree. Many times conservatives can be quite obtuse. This skit has nothing to do with worshiping Baal. Just ridiculing capitalism and Wall Street. I think many conservatives should get out more.
