No need for whipping posts or flogging when a rope would work just as well, unless the flogging happens first.
I am sick of crap like this. The guy will be looked up to with envy in prison.
He kidnapped kids. If the guards ever let the general population within reach of him he will have a hard time.
I don't know about honor among thieves, but there is a hierarchy in prison, and people that abuse kids are at the very bottom.
