I envy you...life would be so much easier if bugs didn’t bother me.
I love snakes, mice, all those things, but the most overwhelmingly numerous life form, yeah, that has to be the one....
I don’t think you have anything to worry about. Everything I’ve read says this swarm is gonna be historic.

The only that creeps me out is leeches and I don’t really see many of those marching around in the mountains.....:)
Don’t feel bad. I live in AZ and have an absolute scream like a schoolgirl fear of tarantulas.
Rattlesnakes? No biggie. Gilas? Fine. Tarantula? Watch normie squeal and run.
