The market power of large companies like Monsanto are a direct result of government power and overreach. You completely fail to recognize this because you have been conditioned to accept ubiquitous government (in this case the courts) pretending to protect consumers, but in reality it is politicians and lawyers arguing over who get to screw over the people.

My understanding of the GMO protests is about monsanto and it’s actions toward people. Monsanto should not need or accept government covering it’s butt with protections

Your understanding is not correct. The amendment simply stops frivolous lawsuits that prevent farmers from planting seeds they have or harvesting crops they have planted. It is not "people" suing farmers, it is leftist luddite activists.

I'll rephrase my advice from before: If you are upset about GMO used in foods then go ahead and use your money to support GMO free food, don't join in leftist or luddite efforts to restrict my choices. The easiest thing for you to do is shop at stores that are GMO free.

Monsanto is a very big problem. We may have to join hands with those who we do not agree with all things on, to share our disdain of Monsanto and its conquest of our God given food supply.

If not eating sugar was a cure for cancer - why do so many Tasmanian Devils die of cancer?

Not eating sugar (fructose!) is not a cure for cancer. It's a helper to:
1) stop feeding the cancer cells (cancer loves sugar)
2) reduce body acidity (cancer loves an acidic environment)
3) and the other, too numerous to mention, benefits of cutting out fructose.

And this is going to be more efficacious than chemotherapy? Tazmanian devil cancers don’t also love sugar? Not eating sugar for them is just as good as if they were constantly undergoing chemotherapy?

What's wrong with corn syrup? Be specific.

Dr Mercola puts it in fairly simple terms here:

I love this part....Without getting into the very complex biochemistry of carbohydrate metabolism...

There's a very good reason why he doesn't go into the "very complex" biochemistry of carb metabolism.

Gee, I can't imagine why that is, though.....lol.

Too much water can kill you, where is the Mercola video warning us about water? Right, he can't make any money off of that one.

He never said anything about too much fructose killing you. Your straw man argument fails. The comparison is not at all applicable. Folks that keep cramming fructose down their and their kid's gullets will pay the price most likely in unhealthy pounds and diabetes. The result may not be a reduction in life expectancy, but it will most certainly degrade quality of life.

Eating too many calories with too little exercise does that. It's the MASSIVE quantity, remember.

I’m sorry. I can’t attend. I have a Doctors’ note.

I’m medically forbidden to march with idiots for idiot causes because it irritates my shin splints... and... my Explosive Rage Syndrome tends to get, um, sparky.
