Plus I see you either have to pay $5 for a permanent card to ride, or else pay a $1 surcharge on every trip for using a paper farecard. And I can’t buy a one day unlimited pass for $14 unless I spend the $5 for the card first.
We did the math and decided the card was worth the price for as many times as we would use Metro.
