I learned that when I was a cabdriver, at least half were men. Some became regular customers – they were good tippers. I didn’t consider any of them attractive. If there was an attractive woman working the area I knew it was a police sting.
I saw stings in action a couple times. A John would direct me to the red light district. He’s spot a good looking woman working the street and I’d warn him she was a cop. None believed me. I’d let him out and park in a nearby parking lot to watch him be arrested.
