Pre-panic prices of the Mosin 91/30s was below $100. Now they are anywhere from $120 on up.
If you have C&R license, I would suggest that you visit Aimsurplus and purchase the X shooter grade Mosins when they become available again. Those are $89 each and you might get a collectable 91/30 with the MO or DDR stamp on the barrel.
The two X grade shooters that I got was a 91/30 triple dated MO ex-dragoon and a double dated MO round receiver. Worth far more then $89 each.
They do have Chinese Type 53 which is identical to Mosin M44 for around $120 if you look around.
