I had a coworker that could not understand why I did not go to see avatar. I asked him to explain the plot. From what I understand it was basically about one race taking advantage of another race. After he explained it to me I said don't you see the subliminal liberal message in that?.................He thought I was crazy. I said maybe I am but you need to WAKE UP.. The whole thing was also just seriously illogical. People with the technology for interstellar travel and avatars would also have the technology for mining the minerals they want from under that silly tree without disturbing anything above it.
And if the locals got huffy, the technology and knowledge of the natives' biology that enabled them to produce avatars would enable them to produce bio-weapons and neurotoxins that would wipe the natives out cleanly.

I would have loved to see Avatar.
I did not see...I wont.
I just don’t care to watch a film that blatantly portrays our nation and our military as criminals and conservatives as evil.
